Groupon has launched a whole new payment service giving an edge to rival Square. The new payment service, name Groupon Payments will allow merchants to process credit card payments from customers using an iPhone or iPod Touch. The company says it offers the “lower rates” for transaction and providing the same Square-type similar fashion swipe card dongle. The company further says that participating businesses will be able to use the app so as to scan easily and can redeem Groupon. The app also lets you redeem Groupon vouchers, and you can get real-time business reports in the online Payments Center. Well, what you are waiting for, if you wanna give it a try.
