Google’s ‘Babel’ Chat Branding Leaked Again

Droid Life (via Patric Dhawaan (Google+)) reported that the Google’s new unified chat, rumored to be called as Babel popped up while Dhawaan “purning” his inbox. The message comes in picture saying that the recent conversations have been moved to the trash as one or more conversations considered being a part of “Babel chat.”

The publication citing sources stated that the Babel being tested internally with Google employee and the service is reportedly being spanned across Android, iOS, Chrome, Google+ and Gmail. Since, we are just a month away from Google’s I/O, there are huge chances that Google will debut Babel.

The publication also shared Babel features which it gets to know via Google’s employee:

  • Access the same conversation list from anywhere
  • A new, conversation-based UI
  • Advanced group conversations
  • Ability to send pictures
  • Improved notifications across devices
