Google’s Android Head Rubin Denies Plans To Leave Google, Claims 900,000 Android Device Activated Daily

With lots of rumor rounding up that Andy Rubin is leaving Google, but what later on Rubin, Google’s Android unit head confirmed the heat that he has no plans to leave Google, and moreover claiming that 900,000 Android devices activated on daily basis.

“Cloudcar are a group of friends who I give free office space to in my incubator in Los Altos,” Rubin said on his Google+ account. “Revel Touch (Mar Hershenson’s company: www.reveltouch.com) is another cool company that shares this space. I’m not joining either one and I don’t have any plans to leave Google.”

 

The rumor begin when Robert Scoble posted on his Google+ account that Android head Andy Rubin was preparing to leave Google to join a startup called CloudCar. The rumor was strong enough that makes him to tweet and states his plans, denying the rumors.
