Google has released some very interesting numbers sharing the Web page size and speed. The company reported via its Analytics team that over the last year, the web pages size has increased by over 56 percent, while access from desktops has become “only a bit faster” and on the other end, access from mobile now stands at around 30 percent faster.
This latest data reportedly comes from the Site Speed reports in Google Analytics, which allows website owners to check how real users are experiencing their web pages speed. Breaking down into more constraint results, the page load time histogram for desktop does not show anything hefty while that of mobile shows slower buckets to faster buckets.
