Google Releases Chrome For Android On Intel Devices

The search giant has announced the release of Chrome for Android on Intel x86 devices, means if you do have an Android device which will be based on x86, you can now experience the speed, security and simplicity of Chrome. Along with the security improvements, the Chrome for Android M18.1 also brings:

  • Location preference now integrated to system level Google apps location setting.
  • Youtube videos controls now work in full screen mode; videos continue playing after screens lock/unlock.
  • Fixes to make third-party IMEs work better with Chrome.

Chrome 18.0.1026311 is now available for download on Google Play and from the Google Play Store on your Intel x86 based mobile device.
