Google Maps

Google today unveiled that from now on you can get new cloud-free satellite imagery for clearer view of the world. The company says with the move it will be able to provide “more accurate and comprehensive view of our planet’s landscape.”  The update also brings refreshed imagery across different parts of the world, including Russia, Indonesia and central Africa.

The search giant added that it took hundreds of terabytes of data from USGS’s and NASA’s Landsat 7 and result of which it would be able to offer users now the cloud-free images. In order to view the new imagery, click and activate the “Satellite” view within Google Maps and you are done and see the images.
