Google Introduces Maps Engine Lite, A Whole New Version Of Its Enterprise-Focused Mapping Service

Google today introduced a whole new product which is currently in beta stage, and is dubbed as Google Maps Engine Lite. The Google Maps Engine Lite is a whole new version of its enterprise-focused mapping service and currently only supports English. The company also highlighted the MAPA Project, which in turn used the scaled down service.

The new product will let users plot small spreadsheets of locations with the help of styling and drawing options which will lead to customization of the appearance and then the compare up to three data sets for “non-business purposes.” Currently, the product is priced for corporations only as the Maps Engine Lite site instructs interested customers to contact the company’s sales team and ask for the quote.
