With just hours away from Google’s this year I/O 2013 event, Droid-Life is reporting that the company is going to unveiled a new and better version of Google Maps, bringing full-screen experience matching with Google Now-esque card style.

The sign-up of this newer Google Maps version was already live, a whole day before the event, suggesting what’s cooking inside the search giant chamber. On checking it out, the sign-up page highlight mentioned a “tailored map for every search.”

Second thing to be noted out is that there was a “smarter search box,” which being lived on top of the full-screen maps, counting on all available information, including destinations, ratings, reviews, and indoor maps. The new Google Maps also includes Google Earth imagery and transportation modes comparison.

Well this is just the starting as we strongly believe Google having a lot more for I/O conference. For all updates, click here.
