If you expect that you had much at this year Google’s I/O 2012 event, and then you might be wrong, as actually more to come your way, the company introduced today the new YouTube API for Android. The API will help developers by allowing them to easily embedding YouTube video content to native apps. The new API will also support ads and monetization, and over the top helping developers with premium video contents to have revenue source. In one and all, what Android Central points out that this new API will be “un-supported on older versions of Android” i.e. will work only best on Android versions from 2.2 and onwards.
