Google today debut a new two-week online mapping course in which the company will teach you Google Maps, Maps Engine Lite and Google Earth. The course “Mapping with Google” will be offered from June 10 to June 24 and will be available as a self-paced offering. The company added that all registrants will receive an invitation to preview the new Google Maps while it has started rolling out the service to some of interested users, although it has been going to roll out for all the users soon.
You can register for the course via the following link in which you will be asked to sign in with a Google account, putting up your full name and answering three questions: What goal do you hope to achieve by signing up for this course?, How have you used Google Maps in the past? And How have you used Google Earth in the past? With only first question is compulsory.
