In the wake of ongoing elections in United States, Google has announced an open source Voter Information Tool. The tool as the name suggests will help people to find relevant information they are seeking into, let you enter your address and find information on your polling place, early voting locations, voting rules etc. The search giant will make avail the tool in a week early time from the US Presidential Election to begin on November 6. The company further says that its being working with a “number of media partners” in order to ensure that tool goes viral on web on time, further enacting on by saying that the tool should help voters “research candidates” and “successfully cast their ballot on Election Day.”
