Google Adds Lao To Translate, Now Supports 65 Languages

With adding the Lao language to Google Translate, the search giant announced that now its system Google Translate supports the 65th languages. Google constantly working on to improve “automatic translations,” including collecting new data, tweaking algorithms, and improving the grammaticality of translations. The company also said that it is working on many languages that it plan to launch in the future.

The company also says that currently the translation quality for Lao is at the lower and compared to that of other languages, Google offers. Therefore, the company assign Lao with an “alpha” status until any further improvements comes into existence. Google is asking users for feedback in order to improve the quality of Lao translations.
