It’s a Google day today – first the Google Drive launch – and now the company has announced a bonus to Gmail customers also – the search giant is offering users 10GB of email storage at no extra cost. That is up from the 7.5GB that users were getting before. From the company’s announcement:

Today, we’re happy to announce that we’re increasing everyone’s free storage in Gmail from 7.5 GB to 10 GB (and counting) to celebrate today’s launch of Google Drive. The increase will take effect over the next 24 hours. We hope you all enjoy the little bump!
