GigaOm: Google Drive Cloud Storage Launch Planned For Early April

Google Drive, the long-rumored search giant cloud storage service, may be appears to be launching next week, reports GigaOm. Cited “well placed” sources told the publication that Drive is on the urge of launch and will make its debut very soon; it will be released to consumers in April first week.

Google Drive allows users to stores pictures, documents and videos on Google’s servers so that they could be easily accessible from an internet-connected device and giving the freedom to users to easily share the files with others. Google is also supposed to be developing an API for third-party apps.
