SamMobile today posted the first pre-release version of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version for the Samsung Galaxy S III, and stated that the official update will be available via KIES within two weeks time span of now. The publication reports that the I9300XXDLG4 test build features “Dormant mode” and the ability to use your own palm to take a screenshot. Although the official release just almost rounds the corner but if you don’t feel like waiting, better go and check SamMobile for directions on how to install the test build.

The few changes SamMobile got along so far includes a new clock (in line with JB vanilla) in the notification bar, a function called “Dormant mode,” Google Now is accessed by touching the Google Search widget, a couple of new Live Wallpapers, “Palm swipe” lets you take a screenshot and  Reboot into “safe mode” (maybe just in test release).
