FTC Launches ‘Competition Probe’ Over Facebook Acquisition Of Instagram

The Financial Times reports that FTC is launching a “competition probe” into Facebook recently acquired photo-sharing service Instagram. Citing the “sources”, the investigation could take somewhere between six to twelve months, which would surely result in delay the close of the acquisition sale. Furthermore, what important lying at the moment with the stream is that Facebook IPO is just a week away, and we hope that this will not affect that in anyway.
