Facebook starts its first day of trading with $42.12 per share price, up 4 points (10.23%) with currently trading at $38 per share price. The social giant sets it’s per share value at $38. This make the company total valuation to $104 billion and it will be an $18.4 billion initial public offering. Wedge Partners has issued a Facebook research report.
“Internet advertising is well established and understood by advertisers overall, but Facebook still needs to work closely with advertisers to tailor ad campaigns for maximum impact on the Facebook platform,” Wedge’s Martin Pyykkonen wrote. “In GOOG’s early days, they worked very closely with advertisers with their search analytics in search keyword bidding and optimization.”
