With its Initial Public Offering on the way, the social giant through its blog post has announced that it has send some 160 million visitors to mobile apps in April, almost tripled in the past two months. Seven of the top ten grossing iOS apps and six of the top ten grossing Android apps are integrated with Facebook.

“As mentioned in previous highlights, features like Single Sign On and Open Graph increase installs, usage, and re-engagement for mobile apps, regardless of whether they are built for iOS, Android or the mobile web,” mobile product marketing manager Jonathan Matus said in a statement.

We earlier reported today that Facebook will hold its initial public offering on May 18th. The social giant originally filed for IPO on February 1st, saying that it intended to raise at least $5 billion, and make the company worth a total of $100 billion as a result. We truly hope that now the day is not far away and the IPO will hit the social giant and make it bigger.
