Well surprising news but yes it is happening or even in the stage to be happened soon – we know Facebook as social giant but what if social giant found making smartphones – surprised – but yes, this is what the big news coming up this morning straight from The New York Times. Codenamed as “Buffy”, the social giant has hired more than half a dozen of Apple software and hardware engineers who had worked with Apple on iPhone and iPad.
When asked last week, the company did not deny or confirm that a project to build a smartphone existed, but pointed to a previous statement it gave to AllThingsD last year that said in part, “We’re working across the entire mobile industry; with operators, hardware manufacturers, OS providers, and application developers.”
One Facebook employee said: “Mark is worried that if he doesn’t create a mobile phone in the near future that Facebook will simply become an app on other mobile platforms.” So does with this, we means that is it a start of new era of social giant but we do also need to remember one thing that company recently brings up a big flop show on its IPO (not to be forget).
