Facebook today launched a new social plug-in, the Recommendations Bar that help people find articles based on what their friends like or share from your site. Recommendations are based on content that friends have explicitly liked and shared in your app or website. All it happens with a small pop-up which surface at the bottom of the screen while you read an article, highlighting recommended articles and prompting them to like the page. And, yeah it works the same way as the Like button works now, the way a person likes an articles using the Recommendations Bar, a story published back to their timeline and friends’ news feed.
