Starting from today, you will soon be able to see “Sponsored Results” and that too before the search results, reports TechCrunch. The social giant has added these whole new features offering user the ability to place their “Sponsored Results,” in the form of paid advertisements relating to search queries at the top of the results. On clicking on the ads link, it will take you to the corresponding company’s Facebook page, instead to an external website link. The company in its message to marketers said that brands will have “ability to drive [traffic] to specific Pages, Tabs, and Canvas Applications.” In case if the ads don’t like by you, you can close them by clicking on the close button in the top right which will dismiss the add, but yes a survey asking why you didn’t like it comes in front of you.
