Facebook Hires Former Levi’s And Apple Executive Rebecca Van Dyck To Head Global Marketing

According to AdAge, Facebook does very little marketing – but it probably be changing from as of now as the company made a new hire – on bringing former Levi’s and Apple executive Rebecca Van Dyck to head global marketing.

Prior to joining Facebook, Dyck worked as Levi’s Global CMO for the period of 10 months – where her role is to see the company’s global “Go Forth” campaign and before that she served as senior director-worldwide marketing and communications at Apple – where her role was to worked on the iPhone, iPad, iPod and iTunes launches.

Facebook which recently filed for its giant-IPO, the company will need to put itself out there to draw more users, developers and not-to-miss businesses to advertise on the platform – in short, with such hires company will change the way it market itself to consumers.
