Reuters is reporting that the US Department of Justice may sue Apple as soon as tomorrow morning, over allegations that the company was involved in an ebook price-fixing arrangement with five other major publishers of digital reading content. Last month news states that Apple along with five other publishers going to face anti-trust charges from US Department of Justice over the raise in the price of electronic books. Over on which earlier The Justice Department could reach a settlement in the next few weeks with Apple and some of the major publishers suspected of colluding to push up electronic book prices. Anonymous sources told the Wall Street Journal that only Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins and Hachette were actually inclined to settle as of last week, leaving Apple, Penguin and Macmillan waiting to see if the government would push harder.
