Does iPad’s Next Version Will Be Called As iPad HD Instead Of iPad 3?

Do the Apple’s next version of iPad – the iPad 3 which is going to make its debut tomorrow on March 7th is going to be called as the iPad HD, not the iPad 3, the news or rumors (we can’t come at conclusion for this as of now) which both CNet and Venturebeat are claiming that their sources are telling that it will be called as iPad HD.

The question at this point is Why iPad HD? As we put up earlier in iPad rumor roundup that Apple’s next iPad is coming with a high resolution  display running at 2048 by 1536 pixels whereas on comparison with current iPads which features a lower resolution of 1024 by 768 display. Plus, the new iPad is going to be only tablet that support 1080pixel high-definition at its full resolution.

Now another point that sounds not that much importance to me but still holds some valuable discussion points – seeing on the domain front, iPadHD.com owner told CNet that the domain was registered back in 2010 before the original iPad was announced. Similarly iPadHD.biz is also not available as well as iPadHD.co.uk has been registered since from early 2010.

There is no official information that suggests that the new iPad will be called as ‘HD’ or ‘3’. The rumors and speculations above is completely a matter of what different publications get to know all around. So, at this point we can’t predict completely over on this – but yes there is a possibility that the information that both CNet and Venturebeat may be correct.
