Protest against Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) legislation has been gathering pace in past few days, organized by the different online advocacy groups.

Adding a new name into the not-to-called as clear protest, the world’s largest social network, Facebook, has scheduled a fancy invite-only event in San Francisco this coming Wednesday i.e. on January 18. The day is already marked in advance as SOPA Blackout Day, for some. But, the issue starts here; the company hasn’t released any details, mentioning what it going to talk about.

What the company plans for the Wednesday is still not clear – might be they want to use the day for some other purpose, like some new feature add-up in the Facebook or may be some new acquisition company had made recently or yes possible company’s founder might announce its upcoming much awaited IPO date.

Well, whatever the stage is set for – we have to wait till Wednesday evenings.
