Chinese Search Engine Baidu Mobile Traffic Raised 1000% Since 2010

What more interesting to note that when one of world’s top search engine make a huge rise? The Chinese search engine Baidu over the past three years has seen a traffic driven by mobile searches on Baidu increased 1000%, according to the new statistics company released in its quarterly Mobile Internet Development report (via TNW).

As per data, mobile searches traffic on Baidu was 11 times as of December 2012 when comparing from January 2010. Chinese search engine have been working at every closure to make it a hit with adding mobile-specific editions of their sites in recent times while upgrade to HTML5 still on the way.

Counting on searches, Reading Searches make a top count for mobile Baidu users, accounting 16% of the total, while shopping at 9.5%, utilities at 8.2% and location-based services at 7.3% were also other top searches. Further to add more, Baidu says 9:30pm to 10:00pm is the most popular time for mobile Internet use.
