China Telecom Launches UK Mobile Services, Plans To Open For Other European Markets

TNW is reporting that China Telecom has launched a UK-based mobile service this week and even having the plans to expand its operations in other key European markets in the coming months. The service is the first Chinese mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) outside of China and it will runs on the Everything Everywhere network.

The service will give customers access to the UK’s widest 3G network, in addition to speedier 3.5 G (HSPA+) services. The service includes Chinese language voicemail and dual English-Chinese customer service along with pre-pay bundles and free calls between CTExcelbiz customers.
