Although in recent times we have seen number of fake Catholic Church head, Pope Benedict XVI accounts on twitter, but now the official account on Twitter has been registered with the handle @pontifex (which in latin “bridge builder,” means pope). The tweets which will start from the account on December 12 will be mirrored separated in different language Twitter accounts in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Polish, Arabic, and French. The subsequent postings are going to be handled by pope’s advisors with first tweet will be sent by pope himself. The pope is also inviting questions asking on all above accounts, presumably he will answer with his best will after his initial tweet.
