AllThingsD is reporting that T-Mobile USA CEO Philip Humm has resigned effective immediately and company’s COO Jim Alling act as Humm’s interim replacement. The publication further says that Humm will not be placed inside Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile USA parent company. Statement from the Deutsche Telekom’s Rene Obermann says that “Philipp Humm has given the company some important initiatives over the past years: Under his leadership the cost situation at T-Mobile USA has vastly improved and he led the company during a difficult phase regarding the planned merger with AT&T.”
