We reported last week that a surprising photo surfaced over the web that goes with no text, only the caption said, “Speaker John Boehner met with Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc., at the U.S. Capitol today.” Adding more light into in it, Fortune reports that Apple is adopting a new, more engaged approach to Washington and the policymaking process.

Citing “source,” the publication stated, “They were quiet and focused. There was no public statement, no press conference, no hoopla, just like the company, which is focused on product design and end results.” The same “source” further added that Cook “has a strong personal interest in policy issues and recognizes the role an engaged CEO can play in making a difference on those policy priorities.”
