Apple, Warner Music Reportedly Sign Streaming Deal, Likely To Unveil iRadio At WWDC 2013

CNET reported that Apple over the weekend has struck a licensing deal with both Warner Music Group and its publishing arm, Warner Chappell to bring the music to its about-to come Apple’s free Internet radio service. The deal also suggests that Apple may likely to unveil the service which being dubbed as iRadio at its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference 2013, which begins June 10.

Last month only Apple and Universal Music signed an agreement based on streaming iRadio music service while it’s being in negotiations talk with Sony. The publication citing sources say that Warner is the first of the major labels the company has reached the deal with for both of its recorded music and publishing.
