The German website Inside-Handy is reporting that Apple is looking out for retail space in an urge to increase its presence in Germany by opening new Apple Stores in Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne. The Cupertino-based giant expects to open 40 new stores this year, three-quarters of them to be located outside the U.S, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer said last year. It is estimated that Apple will have opened nearly 400 stores worldwide by the end of the year, with the company expected to increase its presence in China.
