A report on Bloomberg suggests that Apple is hiring the former chief executive officer of luxury fashion house Yves St Laurent Group Paul Deneve to work on some “special projects” for CEO Tim Cook. Moreover, Deneve will report directly to Apple’s CEO Cook instead of head of retail John Browlett.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Paul Deneve to Apple,” the Cupertino, California-based company said in a statement given to the publication. “He’ll be working on special projects as a vice president reporting directly to Tim Cook.”

Leaning about Deneve, back at YSL, he was replaced by fashion executive Francesca Bellettini. At the time of leaving the group, he said that he was going to “take up a new career opportunity in the high-tech industry.” Also, to note Deneve earlier worked with Apple too as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Apple Europe from 1990 to 1997.

Let’s see what’s cooking up inside the Apple shell.
