Samsung and Apple known pretty well for their long legal battles but on one front they are like best buddies (when it comes to be for developing the parts like chips and screens). Korean Times is reporting that with the Cupertino-based giant taking the swing out shell it is making sure that it will put its reliance on Samsung’s semiconductor capability.

The publication citing “industry sources” revealed that Apple has not collaborated with Samsung to produce A6 microprocessor that is being used in its latest iPhone 5 although the South-Korean giant has handled processors manufacturing in all previous iPhone models.

“Samsung’s agreement with Apple is limited to manufacturing the A6 processors. Apple did all the design and we are just producing the chips on a foundry basis,’’ a senior Samsung official said on the sidelines of a technology fair at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
