The Wall Street Journal citing people with knowledge of the situation are reporting that Apple has reportedly instructs suppliers to start mass production of iPad mini. The new smaller tablet will have a 7.85-inch liquid-crystal display with a lower resolution as compared to the latest iPad model.
Rumors of a small iPad or iPad mini being in news for over a year now, but with the news it confirms that the engine has being started out and the company has ordered to start the mass production process. Further, analysts also believe that the new smaller tablet could help Apple stay competitive.
