Apple Losses Brazilian Local Director To Amazon, Lets New HQ In The Country

According to the Brazilian press report, Apple’s Director for Brazil Alexandre Szapiro has left the company after five years being in service. The information was confirmed by a spokesperson for the company in the country. “Szapiro Alex is no longer with Apple,” the company said in e-mail, through its press office.

Other publication Isto É Dinheiro says his poaching is already done before as expected when Szapiro took part in an integration program at Amazon’s Seattle HQ last week.

Although, of its loosing local director to Amazon, Apple reportedly moved to new offices in Sao Paulo’s neighborhood of Itaim Bibi, Veja reports. According to the publication, the company has let six full office suites for an R$1 million monthly rental (approximately $492,000).
