With the Apple’s iPad 3 events is just round the corner now scheduled to be on March 7th, the company seems added a new category called as Catalogs to iTunes, which is viewable via the App Store web view, reports Apple Insider. Although there are strong rumors that Apple’s new upcoming device will include a retina display.

Joaquin Ruiz, CEO of the leading Catalog Spree app, said, “The impact of the iPad in the shopping and publication industries has been massive. Many thousands of apps have been added over the last 2 years to address the consumers need to interact with their favorite books, magazines and brands within an iPad optimized experience.”

Catalog Spree and other shopping entertainment, which earlier listed under ‘Lifestyle’ has been moved over to “Catalogs” before the big event. As we are now much closer to the event the things will be wrapped up soon in front of us – the event which will start at 10:00 am PST on March 7th – seems that the category will be filled out soon in terms of leaving no stone unturned.
