In order to mark its fifth year of its App Store existence, Apple has launched a special timeline of milestones in iTunes. The company recently surpassed 50 billion downloads of apps from the store, pointing that it should hit 75 billion downloaded by the end of the year.
Along with the offering of free games and apps, Apple also posted a timeline comprises of images showcasing its progress since it made its debut marking its milestone achievements. To make the celebration big, a collection of apps have gone free for the promotion while other apps which earlier costs $19.99 are now also available to download for free.
