Following Judge Lucy Koh’s order that both Samsung and Apple’s CEO to go on talk to work together, the date set was May 21st and May 22nd in resolving long-running patent infringement dispute. The Korea Herald reports that results of the patent talks expected on Friday, citing “Samsung executive” as source.

The two companies will be going to the U.S. International Trade Commission involving infringement cases filed by both parties.  “We also don’t have the details about the situation related to the chiefs’ meeting on patent matters,” said a Samsung spokesman.

The two are involved in more than 30 patent battles in courts in nine different countries ― Germany, Australia, the U.K., the U.S., Japan, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Korea ― surrounding telecommunications technology, designs and user interfaces for their wireless gadgets.
