With the time moving on, it should not be surprised at first that Android 4.0 making its place in more and more Android-based devices. As, with the latest report revealed by Android Developers (via Phone Arena), an interesting figure comes in front of us: currently around 7.1% of device consists of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which is 4.9% up from last month’s data. Seeing Android 2.3 share, it’s increased in the previous two months but by a small amount only and having a market share of 64.6%. Honeycomb has a 2.7% market share while Android 1.5 to 2.1 still makes up to 6.1% of users. The data used for the charts come from the last 14 days ending June 1st.
