Amazon Launches ‘Ebooks Kindle’ Spanish Store With Over 30,000 Spanish Titles

Amazon has launched – via Engadget – a US Spanish-language ebook selection the Kindle Store in order to boast more than 30,000 Spanish-language titles. The collection includes all of the Spanish-language Nielsen best sellers, exclusive Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go books, subscriptions to 14 Latin American newspapers, popular translated works like The Hunger Games and Steve Jobs

Amazon says “the largest representation of Mexican authors.” Amazon also including dedicated help pages and phone and e-mail support for Spanish-speaking users. Independent authors and publishers can now use the Kindle Direct Publishing website to make their books available in the Spanish-language store. For now, the Spanish-only store is limited to the US, but Amazon says that it intends to expand the store around the world.
