ABC Visits To Foxconn Factories: ‘Nightline’ Gets A First-Hand Look At Working Conditions

Apple in its recent moves over the Chinese factories working condition and which is named to be as an “unprecedented move,” opened up its factories and supply chain in China to a full review to ABC news – allowing them to create a report – the story will begin airing on Good Morning America, World News with Diane Sawyer, ABCNews.com, ABC News Radio and ABC Newsone this Tuesday February 21st EST.

ABC will broadcast a special “Nightline” episode filmed at Foxconn’s facilities in Shenzhen and Chengdu, China on Tuesday night, exploring the working conditions at the company’s factories – Apple which is in the news for quite some time and is going though the quite rough time as of the media instances – ABC’s Bill Weir gathers the state of working line of someone working at Foxconn, “The one who was interviewee sees her family once in a month, via a two hour bus journey and still the job which is loved by many others to have.”

ABC shows masses of people gathered outside Foxconn’s plant, looking to get a job inside – Weir and his team feel the difficulty of conduction any employment conditions audit at these factories – the issue is being compounded by the many’ who are all around to get a job at Foxconn – further reported the lack of freely elected labor unions at Foxconn.
