Zynga Hires Lobbyists In Washington

The social gaming company Zynga, which is know pretty well for games like FarmVille and Mafia Wars, plans to lobby on gaming, Internet gambling and online privacy. The company has hired Jeffrey Peck and Justin McCarthy of Peck, Madigan, Jones & Stewart to lobby for Zynga in Washington.

Peck was formerly majority staff director for the Senate Judiciary Committee whereas McCarthy served as a legislative lobbyist for the administration of former President George W. Bush. Zynga also has hired Alix Burns of Bay Bridge Strategies, who was a finance director with former Vice President Al Gore’s presidential campaign.
