ZTE Aims To Sell 35 Million Smartphones By 2012, Plans To Become No. 3 Phone Vendor By 2015

ZTE still not the big name heard in most part of the world, but company’s Head of Mobile strategy Ryu Chienhao strongly urging on that ZTE plans on selling 35 million smartphone by 2012 end. There is furthermore, the company even aims to become the number 3 smartphone and mobile phone vendor in the whole world by three years of now in 2015.

Back in 2011, ZTE shipped 15 million smartphones and according to IDE, the company shipped 19.8 million mobile phones in Q1 2012, making it no. 4 in general mobile phones market, including smartphones, with a market share of 4.8%.
