The folks at The Next Web noticed that YouTube was going through some of the changes – some sort of transformation. After talking with the YouTube, the team gets to know that the company was doing a small experiment to tinker with the buttons on YouTube videos hitting less than 1% of its users.
The official statement from the team is:
We are not replacing it with the plus one button.
Now the reason that sounding us what and why probably the video sharing site thinks or plan to do that – the possible reason is that while noticing we have seen a large number of dislikes on the channel from people who have clicked the thumbs down button more than thumbs up button. The company is aiming to put up the Google+ button instead of thumbs up/down button – the only thing that awaits at the moment is that do they really follow the suite and do the change?
