YouTube Launches Paid Subscription Channels With Pilot Partners, Costs $0.99 Per Month, Expand More In Coming Weeks

So here the rumors finally comes true, YouTube today announced the launch of its much-awaited subscription channels with pilot partners. Starting from today, YouTube launched the program with a small group of partners that will offer paid channels on YouTube for mere subscription fees of starting at $0.99 per month.

Even more, each of these channels comes with a 14-day free trial as well as many offer discounted yearly rates. As soon as you paid the channel subscription fees from your computer, you can watch paid channels from your computer, phone, tablet and TV and soon you will be able to subscribe to them from more devices also.

YouTube further stated that it will be rolling out paid channels more broadly in the coming weeks as a self-service feature for qualifying partners. If you’re a YouTube creator interested in building your own paid channel, you can also give YouTube a shout and if you come under the criteria, your channel can be included in its paid channel list.
