Google’s YouTube today expanded its Partner Program to Middle East: Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It means any user in these countries having an account can become a partner leading to generating revenue based on the number of views their upload videos will receive.

The partner program brings number of benefits, including an in-video advertisements, which will be placed in the bottom third of a video, while other benefit to get is the TrueViews ads, queued up before the video plays. The idea of the program is to attract vbloggers and amateur filmmakers.

“YouTube has seen dramatic increases in Egypt,” said Haisam Yehia, Strategic Partners Development Manager, Middle East and North Africa. “Opening up the YouTube Partner Program in Egypt is a great step to help content creators develop their skills and provide original local content.”
