Giving an edge to Google, Yandex today announced its own web browser first and now announced that its own alternative Android app store is also making its debut soon. Yandex store is defined on developer site page as a native client that features in-app purchasing, push notifications, advanced app search and payment methods that include mobile billing, credit card and e-money.
The Yandex Store site says:
- Over 38 000 apps and counting.
- Fast and easy search functionality.
- In-app purchasing with payment options that include mobile billing, credit card and e-money.
