WSJ: Apple Reportedly Will Use Samsung’s Retina Display For Its Next iPad Mini

According to a report on The Wall Street Journal, Apple will reportedly use retina display from Samsung for its next iPad Mini which is expected to be launched in fourth quarter. The report confirmed that component manufacturers have been told that the iPad maker is planning to use screens from Samsung.

The report also cites that the new iPad Mini will be of same size as that of current 7.9-inch model and will be rolled out in fourth quarter while the company also planning to introduce different colored back covers for the new-generation tablet with screens from LG and AU Optronics for its current iPad Mini.
