Unwired Planet Files Patent Suits Against Apple And Google

A company name Unwired Planet that claims it invented the mobile internet files said to be file patent infringement complaints against Apple and Google in the US District Court for the District of Nevada, reports RTT News. In the case against Apple, the company specifically alleges that Apple’s product and services, includes Mobile Devices, Mobile Digital Content Systems and/or Services, Cloud Messaging Systems and/or Services, and Map and Location Systems and/or Services infringing its patents.

In the first complaint filed in Nevada, Unwired Planet charges Cupertino-based giant for infringing ten of its patent, and in other complaint charges Google with ten different patents, making a total of 20 patent infringements. The patents in talk are related to smart mobile devices, cloud computing, digital content stores, push notification technologies and location-based services such as mapping and advertising, the company added.
